Workshop place - Porquerolles
Île de Porquerolles
The workshop will take place in Porquerolles, a small island in the south of France, 10-minutes boat ride away from the coast (Hyères city).

Seven km long and three km wide, Porquerolles is the biggest and the most popular of the three islands in the Hyeres gulf, with the largest population.

Located on a large wooded area of 8 ha, adjacent to the village, the club hotel Porquerolles can be reach in few minutes of walk from the port, and is located a short walk from the beach of La Courtade.
Becoming a classified site in 1988, the island offers walkers wonderful walks and bike rides.

How to reach it
Several ferry companies connect Porquerolles island to the mainland.

The shortest way is from la Tour Fondue, located at the end of the Giens Peninsula of Hyères.
TLV transport proposes a regular transfer every hour on Sunday afternoon, last round at 18:30.

By car
Three car parks are available at la Tour Fondue, Rue Francois Joseph Fournier, 83400 Hyeres (cost around 18 euros / 24h):

Or you can leave your car at the Arromanches free relay car park, which is near to the regular public transport line stop (line 67). Then you can take the bus to go to the port.

Local bus line
The bus line 67 connects Hyères city center to la Tour Fondue.

Important note
The IGESA has a boat that we can rent for transfers to the mainland. This can be done if the number of passengers is sufficient.
Please, let us know your means of transport and your arrival time as soon as you know it, and we will try to plan 1 or 2 common shuttles for the crossing.
We could also try to organize taxi sharing from train stations or airports.
Accommodation
The conference room includes hardware/software equipment necessary for presentations (video projector, PC...) and a WiFi Internet access.
The meals (full board including coffee breaks) and accommodation are included in the registration fee.
All workshop participants will be accommodated on the spot. A sufficient number of single and shared rooms will be available.
